The Gables at Elm Tree was a one-of-a-kind community in Mount Joy, Lancaster County — and a bold step forward for Alden Homes. Launched in 2015, this 116-lot Craftsman-style development introduced a “smaller but smarter” philosophy to the area, offering modern cottage-style homes ranging from 1,300 to 1,900 square feet. What these homes lacked in square footage, they more than made up for in thoughtful design — featuring open floor plans, creative use of space, built-in architectural details, and Lutron smart-home technology as standard.
